Tral, March 28: Ending the plantation drive in Sub District Tral on a good note, ADC Tral planted saplings of Chinar Trees in the premises of under construction Mini Secretariat building at Bus Stand Tral, Government Degree College Tral and Boys Higher Secondary School Tral.
ADC Tral was also accompanied by the Assistant Floriculture Officer Pulwama. The saplings were provided by the Floriculture Department Pulwama.
Principal Government Degree College Tral and Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Tral also participated in planting the Chinar Tree saplings within their respective institution grounds.
ADC Tral assured both the Principals that more saplings will be provided to the institutions so that more Chinar Trees can be planted this season.
While discussing the future of Flouriculture Department in Sub-District Tral, the AFO Pulwama was informed by ADC Tral that possibilities of providing land will be explored in both the Tehsils of Sub District for establishment of two Floriculture Nurseries within this year.
Pertinently, the department is already working on a park at Chinar Bagh Guang Tral (FK).
