Shutdown and protests held in Awantipora, family and locals demand justice in Rizwan’s ‘custodial killing’

Awantipora, March 21:¬† People in Awantipora staged a protest demonstration today against the alleged ‘custodial killing’ of a school ‘principal’ after he was arrested by ‘forces’

The protesters including sikhs and the family members of Rizwan Assad Pandith, demanded ‘justice’ in his alleged “custodial death”

They were chanting slogans after they assembled outside the Rizwan’s ancestral house in Awantipora.

The father and brother of Rizwan told Media that, reports regarding his ‘escape’ are ‘baseless’ and added that, “authorities should exhume his body to see the torture marks on his body”
