Arbor Day Celebrated at Girls MTI Tral

Tral, April 05:  In an impressive school function, Madrassa Taleem-ul-Islam Tral Girls Wing today celebrated Arbor Day to reflect on the importance of trees in our surroundings and environs by planting and protecting trees.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral Mr. S.A. Raina was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The other guests included Range Officer Tral Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir and other officers and officials from administration and Forest Department.

Moulana Noor Ahmad Trali, Patron of MTI Trust and the Director Academics, MTI Mr. A. R. Khan also graced the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, ADC Tral emphasised on the fundamental lessons about stewardship of our natural resources and caring of our environment. The event was grand demonstration of how to safeguard our future by caring and nourishing our environment.

Impressed by the contribution of the great institution and Late Hazrat Noor-ud-Din Trali, the founder of MTI Chain of educational institutions, ADC Tral advised the students to carry forward the excellence of imparting and seeking quality education.

ADC Tral also advised the students over time management. He also educated the students about their role in keeping their homes and surroundings clean and garbage free.

He said on the occasion that the children and youth are the embassidors of peace and greener cleaner environment.

Range Officer Tral Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir provided the students the in-depth information of conservation of environment and natural fauna.

He was all praise for the contribution of MTI Trust towards shaping up of the modern educational society within sub district Tral and other areas of valley Kashmir.

ADC Tral, Patron MTI Trust and Range Officer Tral planted saplings in the premises of school at the end of the function.
