TRAL, April 26: Chief Education Officer, Pulwama on Thursday, inaugurated Govt. higher secondary school, in a grand function at Batagund village of Tral.
Officials have said that, Govt. High school of Batagund village has been upgraded to Higher secondary, in a recent government order, following which it was inaugurated by CEO Pulwama Naseem Ul Gani today in presence of Principal Boys Higher Secondary Tral Mohammad Amin Bhat.
They said that, it was long pending demand of locals, “as the village caters to many other areas with a good population.”
On that occasion, a colorful function was held in the school premises, which was started with the recitation of Holy Quran, and was attended by the large number of students, staff and locals.
Besides that, students presented their topics, and took part in the cultural programme, organised by school management to celebrate the inaugural function, where they showed brilliant performances.
Principal, BHSS Tral, Mohammad Amin Bhat, interacted with the students and gave a motivational speech, in which he encouraged them for their performance and asked them to keep the good work up in future.
Meanwhile, CEO Pulwama, Naseem Ul Gani, has also addressed the students and said that, there should be a success target in the mind of every individual, which he/she has to chase with hard work and dedication.
He said that, students must acquire knowledge to lead in their life, “as knowledge helps the individuals to chase the dreams properly and comfortably.”
He congratulated the locals and school management for achieving the higher secondary level school in the village and hoped that students here will continue to excel.
Apart from the presence of higher officials some dignified personalities of Tral Mr Abdul Ahad Mujahid ( Chairman Auqaf Committee), GH Hassan Bhat, Sheikh Arshid ( Writer/ Columnist), Molvi Irshad Ahmad, Noorul Hassan, Headmaster Abdul Majeed and Showkat Ahmad took part in the function with quiet zeal and zest.
