In the name of infrastructure, the school has only four rooms including one office even when it has been established in 1963 some four decades ago.
A total of 75 students are enrolled here while some eight teachers have been posted in this school.
The school, located in Dar Ganie Gund village Of Tral at a distance of 12km from sub-district headquarters, was established in 1963 as primary school, later in the year 2003 the school was upgraded to middle school but the shortage of space is forcing the school going children to remain confined to the four walls of their homes.

The school, however, doesn’t only grapple with the problem of lack of teaching staff but it also lacks basic infrastructure like classrooms, playing field . Moreover the walnut trees in school ground are posing threat to students . Some branches are resting on the gabble and hip of the truss of the building .

Villagers said that besides lack of class rooms there is only one washroom in the school which according to them are not enough for the number of students studying there.

“This is only government school having satisfactory roll as compared to the other schools in the areas. This government school of Dar Ganie Gund has 75 students despite that there are three private and public schools in an area” , locals added
