Baramulla, June 23: The residents of Tengpora in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District protest continue for second day, blocked Naidkhai Hamray-Sopore road again to demand traffic service through Magraypora-Tengpora-Goushbugh and then Hamray.

of Tengpora and Gohal Chaku village on Sunday staged protest again and blocked traffic movement on Naidkhai Hamray road.
We face a lot of hindrances due to unavailability of traffic movement
as the vehicles choose another route and put us in trouble said a resident Mushtaq ahmad.
The road have pot holes and narrower to ply traffic movement, oncoming pass is quite a headache, we tend to slow down, stop on the side or to reverse for other vehicles to pass said drivers of the concerned Bus Stand.
Our villagers mostly working as labourers in different places of the district, we need early solution as we have to reach our work destinations on time said group of protesters.
The people later called off their protest and blockade was lifted after a police team of the area reached the spot and assured the protesters of early solution to their problem.
