Teal, June 04: As the Kashmir Valley is going to celebrate Eid -Ul-Fitr tommorow , Beauty is overlooked all over the crook and corners of markets of valley.
In Tral the main market is wearing a festive look as people are busy shopping for Eid-ul-Fitr which will be celebrated tommorow to mark the end of the holy fasting month of Ramzan.
Massive traffic jams were being witnessed in some of the routes in the Town including Abghar route, Dadsara Route , Satura route , College road and Hospital roads and elsewhere as people were thronging the specially-decorated markets
Shops selling readymade garments, clothes, shoes and eatables especially bakery products besides mutton and chicken are witnessing heavy rush, prompting many to engage more salesmen.
Despite fast in view of Ramzan, people from nook and corner of Tral since early Tuesday morning thronged to market to get their shopping as soon as possible.
The markets have been specially decorated and the shops have lined up their merchandise to woo customers into buying the goods.
Bakery and confectionery establishments are also witnessing brisk business for the last couple of days.
However, despite claims by the government that profiteering is being checked, the traders and shopkeepers are selling goods at higher than the rate set by authorities
Butchers are charging Rs 500 per kg of meat, despite authorities recently revising the rate and setting it at Rs 420.
