Srinagar, June 01: Sharing the sentiment of Muslim brethren in Kashmir and beyond on the sacred occasion of Shab-e-Qadar former legislator Nizamuddin Bhat appeals to all for atonement and a special prayer for the suffering lot.
Bhat said Muslims in general and from Kashmir in particular are at cross roads.
He said mutual discord and differences have brought entire Ummah to a critical juncture where it becomes an imperative for each one of us to stand united.
“Let us seek Almighty’s blessing tonight for enabling us to come out of prolonged mess and morass.”
Bhat said Imams, community leaders, God-fearing conscientious persons of society owe it to us that they propagate harmony and lead the people to retrieve the glorious past where entire humanity has benefited from the religion of peace and piety.
Expressing his concern for decline in values and loosing sheen of Kashmiri society, he hoped that Shab-e-Qadar and Eid-ul-fitr will have real joy in store for us all.
