Congress leader S.S. Channi visits Tral, demands completion of work on Dhobiwan bridge

Tral, June 23:  General Secretary Congress, Surinder Singh Channi, visited Tral town on Sunday and met scores of locals there.

On that occasion, he visited Dhobiwan village of Tral along with a delegation and reviewed ongoing bridge work there, which is being constructed from last six months.

Channi said that work on the said bridge is going on at snail’s pace, which need to be concerned at the earliest.

He further said that in absence of bridge locals are suffering a lot, adding that “crematorium is also located on the roadside of bridge, due to which people of Sikh community suffer.”

He requested concerned department to immediately look after the work & ensure swift construction work on it.
