Government school in Tral village lacks basic facilities

Tral June 12: The students of one of the government schools in Tral area of South Kashmir suffer in absence of basic facilities at their school since long time.

As per the locals, the students of Government High School Machama in Tral area, have to face different issues, due to the lack of facilities like classrooms, fencing, and washrooms.

The locals said that there are only three class rooms and one bathroom available for more than hundred students, due to which they face inconveniences, with no intervention from concerned authorities.

They said that, area is wildlife prone and despite that school doesn’t have fencing at all, which keeps the students insecure as ‘wild animals can pass through the school anytime and can attack the students.’

The students also expressed resentment over the lack of classrooms and said that, ‘students of two classes are being taught in single room, due to which students are not able to understand the teaching lessons properly.’

They demanded the intervention of concerned authorities to mitigate the problems of students in the said school.

Meanwhile, a top official has said that school was upgraded recently & they have prepared a plan under which a building will be given to the school.

He further said that fencing & other works shall also be done accordingly.
