Baramulla, June 12: The heavy rains and overnight wind from yesterday caused flash floods in Saveral Villages of Pattan and washed away a bridge in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last night.
Kashmir Valley witnessing heavy rains from yesterday, which wrecked havoc in the valley,Saveral Villages are affected by bridge collapse on Ferozpora Nallah which connects almost 20 villages of Tangmarg area with national highway.
According to locals the flood waters entered in several villages of Pattan area, with that the electricity supply also affected.
Similarly the Nallah (Balkoul) at hamrey has also washed away orchards and many villages and disrupts the traffic movement on Naidkhai Hamray road which connects dozens of villages to srinagar Muzafarabad national highway.
The flood water came into many houses which forced people to rush out for safety said a local Javed Ahmad.
