Srinagar, June 3: There is no let-up in the bloodshed in Kashmir even in the holy month of Ramadan however this “oppression” has to end, said the United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahuddin in his Eid message on Monday.
Salahuddin, who is also the chief of Hizbul Mujahideen, in a statement issued to GNS said: “The people of Jammu & Kashmir have for the last seven decades particularly since 1990 showed utmost resilience and resistance against Indian imperialism. They have rendered enormous sacrifices of their lives and property and these sacrifices will yield results In Sha Allah.”
“The UJC chief in his Eid greetings to people of Kashmir urged them to take care of the families of the martyrs. He also extended Eid wishes to Hurriyat leaders and activists who are languishing in jails and hailed their steadfastness,” the statement said
