Demands employment to the next of kin of deceased on compassionate grounds
Anantnag, June 3: A delegation of JKPM members led by JKPM leaders Syed Iqbal Tahir, Javed Nillora and Sayed Shahnawz visited the residence of Rouf Ahmed Dar , the deceased tourist guide , at Pahalgam who sacrificed his life while saving lives of five tourists in Lidder River.
Iqbal Tahir offered sympathies and condolences to the family of the deceased tourist guide on behalf of JKPM. He saluted the bravery of Rouf Ahmad Dar and described Rouf’s sacrifice a great example of Kashmirayat.
On this occasion. Iqbal Tahir was informed that Rouf Ahmed was the sole bread earner of the family and his father Ghulam Rasool Dar was suffering from tumour and was unable to do any physical work.
Iqbal Tahir has requested the Governor S P Malik to provide employment to the next kin of the deceased tourist guide in recognition of his bravery as also on compassionate grounds.
JKPM team has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
