Man injured critically in Budgam after he jumped from a running train

Budgam June 20: A 35 year old man was critically injured after he jumped from a running train in Central Kashmir’s Budgam District on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching KNO identified the deceased as Abdul Rashid Beigh S/0 Abdul Gani Beigh of Wadwan Budgam.

Eyewitness told KNO Beigh jumped from a running train(74622) on Wednesday evening, Between Mazhama and Budgam railway station.
“He was immediately shifted to PHC Soibugh from where he was referred to SKIMS Bemina in a critical state,” an official told KNO.

Railway official told KNO a halt station is being constructed at the spot where incident took place, however, the incident was due to negligence of passengers who jumped out of running train.

A police official also confirmed the incident to KNO and said that the injured is under treatment at SKIMS Soura.
