Sriangar, July 07: International Human Rights Organisation Kashmir organised Anti-drug awareness programme Kashmir in Town hall Sumbal Bandipora where ASP Ajaz Ahmed Mir was the chief guest.
The programme was participation by a large number of respected dignitaries from police officers, Doctors, Social workers, Anganwari and Asha workers, students, mostly teenagers. They were made aware of drug menace and its harmful effects in the life. They were told about the care for your buddy programme and were encouraged to protect themselves and their friends against drug addiction. Arshad Yousuf Executive Director International human rights organisation advised the students to channelize their energy in sports activities and future career building instead of indulging in drug abuse.
Students were also told about the mobile number and were asked to share any drug peddling/drug addictions information on this on this number for legal action.
