Srinagar, July 28: Moderate to heavy rains were reported from different parts of Kashmir since morning bringing down the mercury by several notches.
Srinagar recorded day maximum at 22.6 degress Celsius which was 7 degress below season’s average.
Pahalgam & Gulmarg recorded a high of 18.7 & 16.0 degrees Celsius respectively.
Kokernag, Kupwara & Qazigund recorded maximum temperatures of 20.3, 25.8 & 21.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
Kashmir Weather, a local weather forecaster, has predicted improvement in weather conditions from this evening onwards.
However, another spell of rain with reduced intensity is possible during late night which may continue till morning hours.
Overall improvement in weather conditions from tomorrow morning onwards.
Sunshine with broken clouds is expected tomorrow.
