Pattan Association’s GNW Football Tournament Concludes At Sheerbugh, Uqab FC Khanbyar Got GNW Title

Grand final of GNW Football tournament of DFA Zone Pattan was played yesterday at Sheerbugh Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Final football match of the tournament was played between Uqab FC Khanbyar and Hamas FC Hamray and the match was won by Uqab FC Khanbyar.
Both the teams play aggressively in the match and made similar goals and then both made saveral attempts till last minute to score a match winning goal
but failed to do in the match at last the Uqab FC Khanbyar got the title of GNW tournament in penalty shoot-outs.
Zahid Ahmad was adjudged as man of the match for scoring the best goal and player of the tournament was given to Bilal Ahmad of Hamas FC Hamray.
24 clubs from pattan zone participate in the GNW tournament.
DFA President North Mr mohammad Zamaan, DFA Secretary Nazir ahmad rather, DFA treasure Mohammad Lateef Shah was chief and Showket Majeed was chief guest and other Great personalities of the village were present.
At last prizes were distributed among the players for their felicitation.
The aim of organising this tournament is to nurture the sports talent and development of team spirit in the youths  of the district said tournament management member.
