Baramulla, March 15: On Saturday night at least two dozen sheeps were killed by wild animals in Kungamdara pattan village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per reports Altogether 25 sheeps belonging to Mohammad Maqbool Chopan were killed in an attack by wild animals last night.
“They were killed in the night by the wild animals which then left the scene, i didn’t hear any commotion that would have prompted me to check the livestock” said owner of sheeps Mohammad Maqbool.
“On Sunday morning as usual when i went to animal shed for the purpose to feed them i saw the dead sheeps their” he added.
Residents of Kungamdara pattan woke up to a startling scene after 25 sheep were killed by wild animal last night.
Scared residents are also appealing to Wildlife officials to lay a trap for the wild animal so that these incidents would not happen in the future.
Meanwhile the residents of the village appealed to the Governor to look into the matter and provide compensation to the owner as it is the great loss to him.
