Srinagar, Mar 30: At a time when Covid-19 patients and suspects are alleging that they have been left on the mercy of God, Head of Department, Chest Disease Hospital, Dr Naveed Shah has said that some of the grievances and complaints of Covid-19 patients are genuine and he will bring those into the notice of Administration.
Covid-19 patients and suspects mostly admitted in Rainawari and CD Hospital Srinagar allege they are not not getting better facilities while most of the Covid-19 suspects complain that for a simple test, they are being made to wait for days together.
CD Hospital sources told Kashmir News Trust that Head of Department, Dr Naveed Shah interacted with Covid-19 for couple of hours together and he patiently listened to their grievances and complaints.
“Dr Naveed counselled them and assured that their genuine grievances will be brought into the notice of Administration,” said a Junior Doctor adding that majority of the Covid-19 patients quarantined in the hospital are doing well and are stable.
He said that Dr Naveed assured the patients that he will try his best to give them everything out of limited resources.
Kashmir Valley witnessed two deaths of Covid-19 patients and both occured at CD Hospital Srinagar.
