Residents aghast , Demands Instant Repair

Pulwama, March 14: Irked over the ‘absence of undercover’ drainage and maintenance of the local Busstand the residents of jawaharpora lam village today sought repairs of the same to ensure maintenance of hygiene in the village
Scores of locals complained that due to absence of undercover drainage system in the busstand , they are facing huge difficulties, claiming that despite bringing the issue in the notice of concerned officers, no action has been taken yet.
They also lamented that the condition becomes worse during rains, as the runoff waters from the entire streets of the villages gushes through the busstand , which further increases torment to the local passengers aswell as residents of the village.
“Due to absence of drainage system it is almost impossible for pedestrians to walk in the markets”.locals said.
Last couple of days heavy rainfall lashed the entire busstand area due to which the stand took the shape of flood channel .
This Overflowing water has inundated residential area including boun mohalla and taqwa colony .
The villagers appealed to the concerned authorities to take up the matter on humanitarian grounds, “as due to open and overflowing waters through the busstand affix the trouble for local residents and passengers,
