Raids the houses at Hajibal and Hakripora again
Srinagar, Mar 4: A day after arresting father-daughter in connection with Hakripora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, the National Investigating Agency once again raided the house of father-daughter duo in the same village and even arrested two more persons. This raid and arrests of duo were made in connection with the last year Lethpora attack, in which more than 40 troopers were killed.
As reported earlier, Tariq Ahmed Shah and his 26 year old daughter Insha Tariq were detained by NIA after their house was raided. Both father-duo are in NIA custody. The raid on the house of Tariq Ahmed was conducted after a youth Shaikr Ahmed Magray from Hajibal Pampore during questioning revealed that conspiracy about the Lehtpora attack was hatched at the house of Tariq Ahmed Shah.
NIA produced the father-daughter duo at Jammu court and they were both remanded to NIA custody for 10 days.
Sources told Kashmir News Trust that on Wednesday as well, the house of father-daughter duo at Hakripora was raided and a thorough search was conducted. Sources added that during the raid NIA was accompanying Insha Tariq who was arrested along with his father yesterday. Sources added that after video and photo-graphy of the house, the team left the place without finding any objectionable material.
Sources informed KNT that sleuths of NIA also raided that house of one Abdul Rehman Bhat at Qasbaiyar Pulwama. The team arrested father-son duo for questioning in connection with Lethpora attack. The father-son duo have been identified as Muntazir Gani Bhat and his father Abdul Gani Bhat.
The NIA team also raided the sealed house of Shakir Ahmed Magray who is already in NIA custody and spilled beans during interrogation. Sources said that Shakir’s house was thoroughly searched.
So for, NIA has arrested five persons including a girl in Lethpora deadly attack. They are Shakir Maqboole Magray, Tariq Ahmed Shah, his daughter Insha Tariq, Abdul Gani Bhat and his son Muntazir Gani Bhat.
