A lot has changed in JK Bank after recruitment scam
Srinagar, Mar 4: Jammu Kashmir Bank is little by little losing its sheen in erstwhile state, courtesy- Bank’s callous attitude towards its customers. From time to time bank has been highlighting its commitment towards public and people were also acknowledging their satisfaction with the bank. Since long bank clients have been upset with the delayed work done by its staff. The clients have been disappointed that bank employees fail to perform their work within stipulated time.
The bank on the other hand is battling with inadequate staff due to which employees undergo huge delay while dealing with bank clients. Meanwhile, bank has initiated recruitment of new staff to cope up with the new challenges. But there are still many problems left which continues to haunt bank.
The bank management is not just providing bank service but also present different gifts to the clients. The gifts usually contain a bank calendar and a beautiful note book dairy. But this year bank has not just reduced the paper in the calendar but also made a mockery of note book dairy making. The note book dairy has been reduced to a simple notepad.
Insiders said that bank has actually prepared a beautiful note book dairy for influential people which were not presented to the clients. The insiders said that there was a huge difference between a normal note book dairy and the dairy for influential people. The bank approach has caused huge public annoyance.
A J&K Bank client Mushtaq Ahmad Ganaie said the bank is no more interested to gain public impression. “Now there is hardly any difference between national banks and J&K bank,” he added.
Another bank client Akhtar Hussain said: “We were working with the bank with the perception of working with our own bank. The bank was also showing us lot of support but now we feel something has changed.”
Khursheed Ahmad Khan from Ganderbal district said in order to boost business, traders from Ganderbal were dealing with the bank but now the situation is different.
“Due to recent bank scams the bank employees also hesitate to provide even smaller loans to its clients,” Khan said adding that although bank provides loans to influential people but for a common client he is asked to bring a government employee as guarantor. “Repayment of loans is also restricted to common clients but not on influential people. This approach is clearly a violation of bank rules.”
Clients do not understand which amount is being charged by bank auditory. It is the responsibility of the bank to check the reports of bank audits and take action against the bank employees.
Now when the bank is facing lot of criticism it is the responsibility of its management to take adequate measures. If these measures are not taken immediately the bank will lose all its face and glory. Other banks competing with J&K bank will go far ahead to win the race of becoming the bank leader in Jammu and Kashmir
