Tral, March 26: The administration in Tral has issued a fresh order asking people for removal of Russian poplars across the sub district.
The orders reads that “people of all the Tral villages must remove all the Russian poplar trees from their land without any delay.”
As per the order, the decision has been taken in wake of the Coronavirus, which gripped the whole world including some positive cases in Kashmir valley now.
“If the Coronavirus may Godforbid spread, presence of poplar trees can pose sheer threat to the health of people,” order reads.
The admin appealed people ‘to initiate the removal of all such trees as early as possible or face legal action and fine’ for the delay.
