Tral: Jammu & Kashmir police on Monday have seized six vehicles in Tral area of South Kashmir for violating the lockdown rules.
An official told The Live Journal that six vehicles (including three bikes) were seized by forces for violating lockdown rules under 144 CRPF.
He said that all the vehicles were seized under 207 motor vehicle act (MVA) and FIR no 26 has been registered at police station Tral.
Besides that, three persons, who were violating 188, have also been arrested by police under 188 ipc.
Meanwhile, SDPO Tral, Dr. Aijaz Malik, appealed the people of Tral sub district, to stay at home & not to violate the rules by roaming unnecessarily or driving the vehicles.
“Cases in valley have been rising very fast but people are taking it lightly & are violating orders. If they want to break the chain, they should stay at home completely, otherwise the time will come when people shall have no option to fight COVID-19,” Malik said.
