Urges Punjab Govt for ex-gratia
Srinagar, April 21: J&K Students Association here on today expressed expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Prominent Member of international humanitarian relief charity group Khalsa Aid, Inderjeet Singh who died in a tragic road Accident in Punjab on Monday.
In a condolence message, Spokesperson of association Nasir Khuehami in a Statement said that Inderjeet was a simple and helpful person. He said in his death, We have lost a generous human being. Spokesperson described his demise as a personal loss, which is difficult to fill up.
He said that humanitarian efforts of Inderjeet Singh are ever to be appreciated. The way he continued to overlook fear & hate so as to protect and empower others is something we will always look upto for inspiration. His actions has inspired to dream more learn more work more.
He recalled that during Post Pulwama Backlash he was on forefront in evucating Thousands of kashmiri students in Dehradun, chandigarh & other States, he was being forced to resign from his job, he added. Khuehami said that Punjab Govt must come forward to compensate for the family of Inderjeet Singh at an earliest.
Younus Rashid Additional Spokesperson of Association said that Inderjeet was the man who didn’t bowed his head and lift it up with the pride for the sake of humanity. He was an unsung hero who is serving the needy people always in the hour of devastation.
Its a big loss to the humanity and particularly to Khalsa_Aid family, his loss has left an indescribable void which we can never overcome, Rashid added Further. Younus expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. He prayed to God to give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
