Pulwama, April 19: Chairman Citizens Council Tral, Farooq Trali, on Sunday expressed concern over the relaxation of lockdown in Kashmir, to some sectors, from April 20.
In a video message on social media, Trali has requested the state government, not to give any relaxation to anyone, in wake of growing COVID-19 cases here.
He said that “as compare to other parts of the world, COVID-19 spread in Kashmir is under control, beacuse of the complete lockdown for past one month by the people here”
“We have maintained the lockdown for last one month, due to which we are safe, till the date. If the relaxation is given to some sectors, the situation may deteriorate, which will have serious effect on us,” Trali said.
While requesting the state authorities for not implementing it, in the Kashmir valley, Trali appealed people to stay indoors for the complete safety from coronavirus.
“People should use the masks and should follow all the precautions, till the COVID-19 situation in Kashmir is completely under control,” Trali added.
