Woman among 3 killed as high speed Mahindra hits motorcycle in Nagrota

Jammu, April 30: Three persons including a woman were killed in a road mishap at Nagrota area of Jammu on Thursday.

Reports reaching GNS said that today afternoon one Motorcycle (JK 02BV 5895) was on way towards Ban Toll Plaza Nagrota to Jammu and one Mahindra Tata mobile (JK02BR 0887) in opposite wrong direction with high speed had a head-on-collision near Zambu Zoo Jagti on Jammu-Srinagar highway. “Due to high speed, the motorcyclist namely Reyaz Ahmed son of Sher Mohd of Ban Nagrota and pillion rider Shusheel Sharma of Bain Bajalta, both were working in Ban Toll Plaza died on spot”.

Also, a Bakarwal woman namely Meva Jan (65) of Khanpur Nagrota who was boarding in a Mahindra died on the spot, they said, adding that the driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.

Confirming it, a police officer said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up.
