Srinagar, 23 May: Weather remained mostly dry over most places during past 1 week which led to increase in daytime temperatures.
Srinagar recorded maximum temperature of 28.8 degrees Celsius, said Faizan Arif, individual weather forecaster, Kashmir_Weather.
Qazigund, Pahalgam & Kokernag in South Kashmir recorded maximum temperatures of 29.3°C, 26.6°C & 28.5°C respectively.
Kupwara & Gulmarg recorded day high of 29.4°C & 17.0°C respectively.
Kashmir_Weather has predicted of mostly dry & sunny weather in upcoming days.
“Weather will remain mostly dry & sunny during next 5 days. However, a brief spell of rain or thundershower & maybe accompanied by hail or gusty winds over some places is expected towards late afternoon/evening due to local developments, said Faizan Arif, Kashmir_Weather.
He added, “This will lead to increase in day temperatures & will stay above normal by 2 to 6 degrees Celsius.”
