Awami Itehad Party greets people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr

Srinagar, May 23: Jammu And Kashmir Awami Itehad Party today in a statement greeted people across the world on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr. Laying stress on maintaining physical distancing and observing all necessary precautions in view of Covid 19, party top brass earnestly appealed people at large to celebrate this Eid with austerity and pray to Almighty for strengthening the Kashmiri nation.

There is widespread carnage,  bloodshed and scores of people have been martyred in the Holy month of Ramadan alone, this year. Entire Kashmiri leadership across spectrum is languishing in jails for nearly a year now.

This is the time to repent for sins, ask for forgiveness and steadfastness to bring Kashmir out of the political quagmire, party requested Kashmiris across all strata to offer special prayers for those martyred and facing incarceration including Awami Itehad Party Supremo Er Abdul Rashid.

Our heartfelt wishes are always with our people, we extend our greetings to people across world and to the Kashmiri nation in particular but there is no denying that Kashmir is going through one of the most difficult periods in its political history. We impress upon people to observe safety precautions in view of deadly pandemic, celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr with simplicity, as per Islamic principles and make generous donations towards poor and needy, said Party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai.

AIP also appealed people at large to donate wholeheartedly for rebuilding destroyed homes at Kanimazar, Nawakadal. People can also offer their zakaat donations for this righteous cause, what could be more noble at this juncture than rebuilding the homes of Kanimazar, Ashai added. Intizamia committee Kanimazar has already taken an initiative in this direction and it is morally incumbent upon all Kashmiris to help fellow brothers and sisters, in these testing times.
