Rajouri, July 04: Security forces have recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from a militant hideout that has been busted during a Cordon and Search Operation launched in Dodassan Bala village of Thanamandi sub division in Rajouri district.
Operation was launched jointly by Rajouri police and Thanamandi based unit of army’s Rashtriya Rifles on Saturday morning after some specific input of suspicious movement was received by police.
“During joint search by army and police, a militant hideout was busted that was made near bushes abd rocks in the area,” officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)
They informed that Cordon and Search Operation is going on in the area with a huge quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered so far that include AK Magazines – 14, 920 AK rounds, Two Pistols, One Chinese Grenade, One UBGL and 11 UBGL grenades and other material.
