Shot at by militants BJP worker succumbs in hospital

Srinagar, Aug 10:  The critically injured BJP worker who was earlier shot at by militants in Ompora area of central Kashmiri’s Budgam district on Sunday succumbed to injuries at SMHS hospital on Monday morning.

According to news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC), the  man identified as Abdul Hamid Najar, a resident of Ompora, Mehendipora area of area of budgam was shot at by suspected militants resulting in serious injuries to him.

In the incident  Abdul Najar received bullet wounds in his abdomen and leg, however, he was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to injuries this morning, a police official told news agency KDC.
