Urges them to safeguard future of thousands of youths
Srinagar, Aug 23: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former chairman JK Cements Ltd, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on Sunday urged BJP and JKAP to come out in support of ‘Gupkar Declaration’ to show solidarity with the JK residents.
In a statement issued here, PDP leader, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo said that it’s time he wanted both Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), and Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) to come out in favour of “Gupkar Deceleration” with other JK based political parties.
“I want the duo (BJP-JKAP) to come out and to show solidarity with the all Kashmiri people and send the centre a clear message that the entire Jammu and Kashmir parties stand united,” he said.
Yatoo said that all such parties should join the deceleration as the future of thousands of youths in Jammu and Kashmir is on stake.
He said that the situation of Kashmir, which had been maintained for the last 70 years, was changed all of a sudden on Aug 05. The PDP leader said when centre had revoked the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir, it was expected from the PM Modi that he would meet different political as well as local youths of the Jammu and Kashmir to apprise them of the situation.
He said that the present rulers of these two parties should show courage in the manner exhibited by other parties to effectively present the case of Kashmir through ‘Gupkar Deceleration’.
