Srinagar, Aug 28: A delegation from Kashmir Traders Manufacturing Federation met Advisor to Lieutenant Governor KK Sharma on Friday.
The delegation was led by KTMF General Secretary Fayaz Ahmad Bhat.
During the meeting various issues were raised while the Advisor assured of their redressal.
Bhat said that almost all the issues related to trade were discussed with the Advisor and other Government officials including Jammu Kashmir Bank Chairman R.K Chibar and Excise Department officers.
The delegation apprised about the hardships faced by the traders. They said since August 5 last year, traders suffered a whooping loss of Rs 45,000 cores. They demanded relaxation on power bills for at least six months and also pitched for a package for traders.
Besides, General Secretary Fayaz Ahmed Bhat, Patron Shahid Jeelani, Publicity Chief Hilal Mandoo and Secretary Javaid Buja were part of the delegation.
