Srinagar, 26 August: Rains that started late on Tuesday night continued to lash most parts of J&K.
As per Kashmir Weather, Srinagar recorded 14.7mm of rains till 5:30p.m.
Qazigund, Pahalgam and Kokernag in south Kashmir recorded 18.6mm, 8.2mm and 22.2mm of rains respectively.
Kupwara and Gulmarg in North Kashmir recorded rains equivalent to 10.8mm and 26.2mm respectively.
In Jammu region, Jammu City recorded 10.4mm of rains.
Like elsewhere, weather also remained wet over Banihal, Bhaderwah, Batote and Katra & the stations recorded rains equal to 21.8mm, 7.9mm, 20.8mm and 19.4mm respectively.
Meanwhile, Kashmir Weather forecasted of more moderate to heavy rains for tomorrow.
He said, “A spell of higher intensity is expected tomorrow over some parts of Kashmir. Rains may again start late tonight or early morning tomorrow.”
“Weather may start to improve from tomorrow night over many parts and further improvement from 28 August morning.” added he.
