Muslims can sacrifice their lives but cannot bear iota of disrespect to our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad
Appealed to the people to maintain peace, harmony and communal amity
KISHTWAR, AUGUST 18: Former Minister and J&K Congress Vice President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today said that a wave of strong anger prevails across the Jammu and Kashmir after police arrested two men for circulating a video on social media in which insulting remarks were allegedly made against Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) in Reasi area of Jammu.
Mr. Saroori said that culprits who committed blasphemy should be booked under (Public Safety Act, Unlawful Activities) immediately so that peace could be restored in the J&K. He said such actions from mischievous people will not be tolerated at any cost.
He warned the government and demanded strict and exemplary punishment to those who committed this crime and have been arrested, so that no one swayed with communal frenzy and deliberate provocation musters courage to commit such shameful act again or harm the centuries-old communal harmony and mutual brotherhood in Jammu & Kashmir.
Mr. Saroori further made it clear that Muslims can never tolerate disrespect or ill-remarks against their beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) the the epitome of humaneness and peace and is dear to each and every Muslim than their own selves. Muslims can sacrifice their lives, and all but cannot bear an iota of disrespect to the honour and dignity of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW); this is the belief of a Muslim.
