Tendulkar of Khan Sahib dies of cardiac arrest while playing cricket

Badgam, August 31:  A young man of 30 years of age, known as Sachin Tendulkar of the area, died in a tragic incident, when he suffered cardiac arrest while playing cricket in a local playground in Khan Sahib town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday, officials told news agency KDC.

The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Ajaz Ahmad Mir S/o Mohd Subhan Mir R/o Krimshoor in Budgam district.

The incident occurred at a playground at Mulnarow area of Khan Sahib block, when after hitting the ball Ajaz was on a half run mark, he suffered a massive heart attack and fell unconscious on the pitch.

Officials said that he was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kahn Sahib, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The incident of a brilliant young cricketer dying in such away has shocked the area and people of his village and adjoining area have widely mourned his death.

Meanwhile, a pall of gloom has descended upon the home of the deceased and people in large numbers are visiting Ajaz’s parents to condole his untimely death. (KDC)
