Urges people to gather at one Masjid on Friday instead of praying at Mohalla Masjids
Srinagar, Aug 14: Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Ex VC JK Cements Ltd, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on Friday said that Muslim unity is the need of the hour and muslims should stay united against various anti-islam miscreants.
In a statement issued here, PDP leader, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo said that, all the Muslims should gather at one place in a village or town on Friday, instead of praying at various mohalla Masjids, to give a united message of love, kindness and compassion.
Yatoo said that, the Muslims today are very careless and are trapped in various divisions which has resulted in a great loss for whole Muslim Ummah.
“Kashmir’s Muslims have evolved their own survival strategy since decades but the rise of various divisions has harmed it.” Adding that such divisions are not endorsed by Islam. Therefore, Muslims in the whole world should unite and keep aside all differences to strengthen the community, he said.
Muslims are overpowered by anti-Islamic forces everywhere, it is unfortunate that there is widespread disunity among the community not only in Kashmir but in the whole world and there is a dire need for unity, PDP leader said.
“We should not forget that anti-Islam forces are stronger than Muslim forces. Hence if Muslims do not form a strategy and do not get united they will not come out of dangers, they are surrounded with,” he added.
