Women shot at by her husband two days ago in Bandipora, scummbs

Srinagar, 29 August: A women who was shot at two days ago by her  husband in Sumlar area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district scummbed to her injuries  late Saturday evening, officials said.
Officials told news agency KDC that a 50-year-old women identified as Fatima was shot at by her husband with 12 bore gun on the night of 26 Aug after there took place a heated argument between the couple over some issue.
She was then immediately rushed to DH Bandipora where from she was referred to SMHS where her condition was critical and finally she lost battle with life late this evening.
The accused husband has been identified as Retired Army Captain Ghulam Hassan khan.
Meanwhile, A police officer told KDC that a case under relevant sections of law has already been registered in this regard and investigations are on into the matter. (KDC)
