Three suspected militants arrested in Rajouri, weapons recovered

Rajouri, Sep 19: Security Forces arrested three persons believed to be militants, and  recovered arms and ammunition from their possession in Rajouri district, officials said.

Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an operation was launched in an area near Rajouri town in the intervening night of September 18 and 19 after which forces successfully nabbed three suspects who all are from Kashmir valley.

They further said that huge quantity of arms and ammunition including assault rifles, pistols and other increment material have been recovered so far in the operation.

“More details can be shared later as senior police officers are themselves visiting the district and shall brief the media,” they said.
