Srinagar, Oct 9: Government has suspended two officials for their alleged involvement in running private business despite being the government servants in violation to service conduct rules.
The suspended employees are officials working in Department of Agriculture.
An order vide number 254 dated 29/9/2020 in this regard has been issued by Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi.
The order, a copy of which lies with news agency KNT reads: “Pending Inquiry for their involvement in running private business being the Government servants which is in violation to service conduct rules of 1971, Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Masoodi, Subject Matter Specialist (SDL) Khansahib and Mr. Syed Ishtaq Hussain Bukhari, Agriculture Extension Assistant Zone Lalpora Sub Division Tangmarg are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and shall remain attached with concerned Chief Agriculture Officers.
Mr. Chowdhray Mohammad Iqbal, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Kashmir is appointed as Inquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth inquiry and submit report to this office for further course of action.
