Absence of officials from Tehsil Headquarter, road connectivity, upgradation of schools, establishment of fire station among demands
Kishtwar, Oct 11: A deputation of Congress Committee from Sub-Division Chatroo submitted a memorandum of demands to Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment here.
The deputation was led by the Ali Mohammed Naik-District Coordination Committee Member, Shabir Ahmed Lone, Mushtaq Ahmed, Abdul Gani, Chowdhary Qasim Din and others have submitted the memorandum highlighting demands of the people of the remote areas.
In this memorandum, the Congress party’s leaders have demanded supply of safe/clean drinking water for people in the block, establishment of new ration depot and upgradition of Primary School to Middle School.
The deputation during their interaction with the Labour Commissioner also demanded establishment of a fire station at the block, new water source required for overall panchayat block Mughal Maidan and Chatroo, electricity, compensation of land and houses which damaged due to road construction, requirement of bridge for Tarnarin Thalsouth and another at Hachery Mughal Maidhan on urgent basis.
They also demanded road connectivity for rural and hilly areas of Thalkwath road, Mughal Maidan to Sherri, Batwari to Sherri, Zella Chatroo, Dadpeth to Loidhar, Mughal Maidan to Sheikh Pura Rahal, Zoola to Lone Pura, Symbool to Basha, Supnay to Phalgam Sigdi, Sangambati to Malwar Giran, Balana to Pranzil, Tarnarin to Nichha Chass, Dar Mohalla to Gwarin Horna, Chanseri Pandit Gam to Harni, Vohal to Baigpura, Seva Chatroo, Deller to Maliknar via Diccher, Maliknar to Sumanwaas, Maliknar to Zaidhar, Kuchal and Weythana to Mulchiter.
They alleged that all the Dak Banglows are incomplete, tourism construction is also not completed in Block Mughal Maidan and Chatroo, and all officers are not available at Tehsil headquarter.
They also appreciated the efforts of Secretary for opening of the Sinthan road.
Commissioner Secretary assured the deputation that he will leave no stone unturned in addressing the genuine demands in a time bound manner.
