Srinagar, Oct 07: Tehsil office of Ajas in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has allegedly issued several Illegal Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificates to the undeserving persons.
A group of Locals from Ajas area of Bandipora told news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that scores of EWS certificates have been issued by Tehsil Office Ajas, in favor of non-deserving persons, belonging to rich and influential families.
They further alleged that these certificates have been issued fraudulently, in connivance with the Tehsildar concerned.
“Several influential persons have received these EWS certificates, after submitting false details of their assets,” they said.
