Sopore, October 01: Iqbal Hassan Moona, a young boy hailing from north Kashmir’s Sopore town cracked Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) making Apple town feel proud.
“I started my schooling from here in my hometown Sopore than I moved to Baramulla after the I did electrical engineering from SSM college in Pattan after that, I did M.Tech from Haryana university.
This was my first attempt to crack the civil services exam. And I did it , He said while smiling.
He said despite the hardship, credit for his success goes to his family solely.
The first major challenge to prepare for civil services was network blockade and then slow speed of the internet. But I kept on walking on the path with the prayers of my parents in my hand and I finally got what I cherished for,” Iqbal said.
Meanwhile since the declaration of his results, Iqbal’s house remained abuzz with the visitors, relatives, well-wishers and neighbours, who come to felicitate this young boy.
