Budgam, Nov 25: Police arrested a non-local after fukki was recovered from his vehicle in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that the said person used to roam from village to village selling honey, but actually he was smuggling and supplying fukki to his customers.
Confirming his arrest, a police official from Police Station Beerwah told news agency KNT that during naka checking at Sonpah Crossing, a party from Beerwah Police stopped one Harbinder Singh son of Sher Singh, a resident of Ludhiana Punjab and during search of his vehicle (PB10-FW1468) 32Kg fukki was recovered from him.”
A case vide number 269/20 under section 8/15 NDPS Act was registered against the accused at police station Beerwah.
