Sopore, Nov 12: In order to make smooth traffic movement in and around the town, Sopore police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district took measures to tackle with the traffic mess.
Drive lead by SHO Sopore Azim iqbal was conducted in the town and number of barriers were installed at different locations in the town to make smooth flow of traffic.
Talking with Correspondent station house officer Azim Iqbal said this drive is for the people, that they could not suffer due to the jams which are being witnessed on daily basis.
Commutators were suffering badly due to the traffic mess, hence we took the measures to divert the traffic from main markets so that they may not face any difficulty, he added.
He also informed general public that all the commercial vehicles including buses, mini-buses, tractors, tippers, will be allowed from bypass only.
“It’s responsibility of everyone to follow the Instructions of admin and to co-operate with police for making smooth traffic system in the town so that people will face any inconvenience,”. He added.
