Awantipora police busted Jaish-e-Mohmmad module in southern Kashmir

Awantipora, 23 Dec: Awantipora police on Wednesday claimed to have busted module of Jaish-e-Mohmmad associates in Tral area of south Kashmir Pulwama and in Sangam area of Anantnag district involved in Gernade throwing and pasting of threat posters.

Officials sources told news agency—Fast Kashmir Awantipora police along with Army’s 42RR and 180BN CRPF busted a terror associate network of miltant outfit Jaish-e-Mohmmad (JEM)involved in gernade lobbing incidents in Tral and Sangam area’s of Southern Kashmir district’s.

Official sources added that the arrested associates have been in contact with Pakistani handlers and have targeted security forces by lobbing gernades upon security forces in recent past.

A Senior police officer identified the arrested miltant associates.

1)Aijaz Ahmad Bhat,resident of Larow Tral in Pulwama district.

2) Mohd Amin Khan,resident of Handoora area of Tral.

3)Umer Jabar Dar,resident of Wagad Tral.

4)Suhail Ahmad Bhat,a resident of Dogripora area of Awantipora.

5)Sameer Ahmad Lone,resident of Darganiegund Tral.

6) Rafiq Ahmad Khan,resident of Handoora Tral.

He added that incriminating material including explosive substance has been recovered from the possession of the arrested militant associates.

He further added that case FIR No.99/2020,109/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered at police station Tral.
