Drug peddler arrested in Awantipora

Awantipora, 23 Dec: The police party of police post Awantipora has arrested one alleged drug peddler in and seized 30 Kgs of contraband substances (grinded cannabis)from the possession of arrested person,Officials said on Wednesday

An official told news agency—Fast Kashmir (FKthat acting on specific information police party Awantipora placed a special naka near Lethpora crossing and arrested one drug peddler.

A senior police officer identified the arrested drug peddler as Abdul Reham Wani Qa,resident of Lethpora Awantipora.

Accordingly,a case FIR No.194/2020 under relevant sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) act has been registered at police station awantipora,he said.
