Suspected militants attack forces party at Awantipora

No damage reported, say officials


Awantipora, Dec 17: Suspected militants on Thursday afternoon attacked joint party of CRPF and J&K police at Kadalbal area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama.

A senior police officer told the news (KNO) that the militants lobbed grenade followed by firing on joint party of CRPF and J&K police at Kadalbal, however, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

He said that entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation launched to track down the attackers.
