Trooper attempts suicide in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 5: A trooper attempted suicide on Saturday in Kashmir capital Srinagar.

The trooper is part of 117 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force.

PRO, CRPF, Pankajh Singh told news agency KNT that the trooper shot himself inside the headquarters located at Wazir Bagh Srinagar.

“The reason is not yet known, he has been shifted to SMHS Hospital and is being treated,” he said and identified the trooper as Yogesh Kumar.
