Poonch, Dec 25: Two porters working for Army were injured after Pakistan Army resorted to shelling and firing along Line of Control in Jammu regions Poonch.
Official sources said on Friday, Pakistan Army fired upon security outposts in Bandi and adjoining areas resulting in the injuries of two porters. Both the porters were evacuated to Army hospital for treatment.
The injured porters have been identified as Muhammad Gayas and Altaf Hussain, both residents of Noor Kote.
*Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch Ramesh Agarwal while confirming the incident said both porters are stable.
Pertinently, on January 11 this year, two porters were killed in Kasalian Pooch area along LoC in Pakistan shelling. They had been dentified as Mohammad Aslam, 28, son of Mohammad Sadeeq and Altaf Hussain, 23, son of Noor Din, both residents of Kasalian, Gulpur of Poonch.
